WATERS has announced the release of its line of MassTrak integrated solutions which have been designed to meet the needs of clinical and research laboratories, transplant hospitals and reference laboratories.
Waters MassTrak clinical solutions integrate liquid chromatography (LC), mass spectrometry (MS), software, reagents and support services.
The Waters MassTrak Immunosuppressants kit is designed to provide quantitative analysis of Tacrolimus in the whole blood of kidney and liver transplant recipients.
Waters says the LC/MS/MS based solution has been optimised to eliminate issues known to occur with the Tacrolimus immunoassays namely cross reactivity, poor precision and inaccuracies due to hematocrit variability.
The Immunosuppressant solution is a total system solution incorporating the ACQUITY UPLC and MS platform with software and pre-packaged, fully tested reagents and consumables.
