VARIAN Medical Systems has introduced the PaxScan 3030+ X-Ray Image Detector which has been designed for interventional angiography procedures.
The PaxScan 3030+ has been developed to allow the physician to monitor interventional procedures, including the placement of catheters within blood vessels, in real-time.
Varian says the PaxScan 3030+ provides detailed images with high contrast and spatial resolution, while delivering a low X-ray dose to the patient.
Additionally, the PaxScan 3030+ multi-modality panel has been designed for use in cardiovascular imaging systems and surgical C-arms.
Varian says the PaxScan 3030+ is specially designed for equipment incorporating three dimensional cone-beam CT (CBCT) capabilities.
