APPLIED Biosystems has announced the release of its TaqMan Array Gene Signature plates which have been designed to enable the scientist to measure the activity of multiple gene targets known to be expressed in biological pathways, processes or disease states.
The TaqMan Array Gene Signature plates have been developed as a set of molecular tools for investigating the role of specific genes associated with more than 80 key biological pathways.
The TaqMan are 96-well reaction plates containing pre-formatted and dried gold-standard TaqMan Gene Expression Assays.
Applied Biosystems says the TaqMan has been developed to provide researchers with a fast and easy way to generate high-confidence gene expression data.
The TaqMan is said to be ideal for research in lipidomics, apoptosis and signal transduction.
