ANDOR has announced the release of its Shamrock SR-500i imaging spectrograph which has been developed as an extension to the company’s existing spectroscopy detection solution range.
Andor says the Shamrock SR-500i spectrograph has been designed to offer enhanced multi-track capabilities and imaging quality for simultaneous multi-fibre optic probing, and direct-coupling micro-spectroscopy applications.
The SR-500i is configurable with two inputs and two outputs. Andor claims it is also compatible with the mirror-based F/# matcher, swappable grating turrets and shutter and fibre optics bundles.
Andor says the Shamrock SR-500i has been developed to be used in conjunction with its detector range including the Newton EMCCD range and spectroscopy-dedicated Solis software.
Andor suggests the SR-500i is suitable for use in physical and life science research using both multi-channel and single elements detection.
The Shamrock SR-500i is available through SciTech in Australia.
