AMNIS Corporation has announced the launch of its ImageStreamX imaging flow cytometer which has been developed to combine the speed, sensitivity, and phenotyping abilities of flow cytometry with the detailed imagery and functional insights of microscopy.
Amnis claims the new generation of ImageStreamX expands the capabilities of the platform with faster sample throughput, more excitation lasers and detection channels, higher image quality, and greater productivity.
Amnis says the ImageStreamX is ten times faster than previous models and is able to produce up to 12 images per cell.
