Roche Applied Science has announced the Roche 'Ready-to-Go' Real-time PCR offer. The company will award a LightCycler 480 real-time PCR system, reagents and support for up to 6 months to the winning entry.
The LightCycler 480 Real-Time PCR System is a high-throughput, microwell plate-based cycler platform. It is a compact benchtop instrument providing a combination of speed, accuracy and versatility, says Roche. The instrument is only for research, not diagnostic procedures.
Applications that can be supported using the LightCycler 480 include: gene quantification; gene scanning; gene detection; and genotyping.
To win this PCR system, submit a proposal outlining the goals of your application - describe, in 500 words or less, how a LightCycler 480 in your lab would enable you to reach new heights and revolutionise your research.
The deadline for submission is April 5th, with the winning recipient announced on April 19th, 2009. So put pen to paper and get Ready-to-Go with Roche!
The proposed application or study should be of a standard that would warrant publication of findings or results in a reputable scientific journal or magazine. In addition, the research aims should be achievable within the allocated timeframe of six months.
