Sigma-Aldrich has launched its mobile device website, designed for access by smart phones and other mobile devices. Researchers can access the site using mobile platforms. The site is optimized for iPhone, iPod Touch and Blackberry.
According to the company, its mobile device website is a dynamic tool designed to facilitate scientific collaboration, information sharing and networking.
The mobile device website enables visitors to access complete product properties and descriptions for more than 130,000 products, as well as approximately 90,000 technical documents and 200,000 chemical structures and images.
In addition, scientists can access Certificates of Analysis, Specification Sheets and other details to ensure quality and safety.
Price and availability information for all of the Company's products is also included on the mobile device website, with an e-mail option for collaboration and ordering through the desktop site.
